This year’s Electronics Goes Green from September 9-12 marks a new milestone in the electronics industry’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. The four-day event will be attended by 450 conference delegates with a wide range of backgrounds in technology development, industrial management and environmental policy. Together the participants contribute 6 keynote speeches, 155 presentations organized in five parallel sessions, 30 posters as well as 5 forums and tutorials. A particularly popular topic in 2012, will be resource management. Several speakers point to the importance of dealing with all stages of the supply chain, not just those traditionally associated with materials. Two other key conference foci will be firstly, new materials and technologies and secondly, recent legislative developments. The CRC 1026 presents itself and its research activities with a exhibition booth to both, the academic and the industrial community during all four days.
